very colorful. for some reason this reminds me of the colorful movie rio(3D) may be because of the colorful bird.

BTW I thought Batik prints were like those unique line prints of calcautta and Indonesia.

What is batik?

Asha..now that you mention, it does remind me of rio too. Batik is an art form from Malaysia( i think). Wax is used to draw over cloth and a special ink is used to colour inside the wax designs.Wax is then washed off to give you colourful patterns.

Vibha.. You will find tonnes of instructional videos on youtube if you type in Batik Painting . I dont have the inks now as my batiks were done in 2009, so i cant do a step by step post.
